Description: Let me take you back to a day before the Guylos Empire - to the grand old days of the Zenebas Empire. These are the days in which a Zoid called the Iguan entered the employ of the Zenebas Armed Forces, and it did its job as well as anyone could have reasonably hoped. However, some people decided that the Iguan was somewhat lacking in the melee area - or maybe thought that it just needed another weapon. Records are misty from this point in time. Anyone, at some point in time, some very amateur engineer decided it would be a brilliant idea to create a weapon called a "Pile Bunker", a massive 1-ton spear that could be fired for a massive damage effect. The idea proved ill-conceived, because, while it fit onto the Iguan and did its own function all right, it overbalanced the Iguan. Just 1 of these two spears makes the Iguan prone to tipping over, 2 makes such an event almost inevitable with fast movement. Also, the awkwardness of the modification can interfere with performance, usually not making it a viable option for combat.

The Pile Bunker might well have died out if the Guylos Empire had at one point decided to make the Rev Raptor play to its strengths and adapt the Pile Bunker to that particular velociraptor as well. Unlike with the Iguan, the Guylos engineers adapted the part properly, and the Pile Bunkers neither overbalance the Rev Raptor nor negatively affect its maneuverability.

But, what is the Pile Bunker? Having read this far, I'm sure you've deduced that it is a large spear. That it is, and it remains fixed as long as not commanded to do otherwise, perfectly usuable in melee as a normal weapon. Its tip is sharpened to a fine point, making it excellent for armor piercing, and even on the Iguan it can be used quite effectively. However, it has a second, more powerful damage-dealing capacity. When the signal is given, a black powder charge causes the Pile Bunker to fly outwards with the speed of a bullet, piercing anything under Gojulas-grade armor with ease. Plenty of structural and surface damage accompanies that: a giant 1-ton spear isn't exactly a health product. Note that the spear remains accurate only out to 50 meter's range, and can only fly 100 meters in all. And one shot only - make sure it hits.

The Pile Bunker is not often mounted on the Iguan anymore, as the Iguan is not often used anymore by the larger world militaries. However, it can commonly be seen used in unorthodox or desperate military maneuvers that culminate in the use of a Pile Bunker on an enemy cockpit. However, the Pile Bunker has joined the CP parts line - making it public domain and available to Rev Raptor and Iguan pilots all around Zi. Fairly cheap, too.
